ISPANZ appoints new board for 2011

The ISP Association of New Zealand (ISPANZ) appointed a raft of new directors for 2011/2012 at a board meeting on June 15.
The new directors are Peter Gregory of Kinect (TrustPower’s telecommunications company), Steve Ritchie of DTS, Dave Mill of Inspire, and Neil Fenemor of FX Networks. Returning directors are Jamie Cairns of Snap Internet and Charlie Boyd of Orcon
Jamie Cairns remains President of ISPANZ while Dave Mill becomes Vice President, taking over these responsibilities from Charlie Boyd. Dave Mill also becomes Secretary-Treasurer, taking over from Nick Jensen of ICONZ.
Departing directors are: Nick Jensen of ICONZ, Paul McGarrigle of Maxnet, Andrew Cushen of Vodafone, James Watts of Inspire and Jamie Baddeley of FX Networks.
President Jamie Cairns says “We thank the previous board for its work over the past year and it is excellent to see new faces on the board of ISPANZ, ready to address a raft of issues that face ISPs in New Zealand today."
ISPANZ expects to work on a number of issues relevant to its membership over the coming months, including Lawful Intercept, Copyright, UFB/RBI and UBA Price Changes.
